Ballast and aggregate suppliers in Aldershot
We’re four or five miles from Aldershot at Homefield Sand Pit on the Guildford Road in Runfold. Ballast, sand, gravel, Type 1, screened soil. Most of it is produced and processed on our own site, so if you ask us what’s in a load we can tell you.
Order before 2pm and we can often get it out the same day. If not, next day. It does depend what you’re after.
What we can send you
Washed recycled aggregates and ballast, sharp sand, building sand and pipe bedding sand. Gravel in 4-10mm and 10-20mm. MOT Type 1 sub-base, either Type 1 Limestone or Type 1 Reblend, both to SHW Clause 803. We also do 10mm screened soil, limestone scalpings and asphalt road planings.
Small loads
Smallest loose load is 3 tonnes. Below that we do one tonne dumpy bags and we’ll bring out a single bag if that’s all you need. Worth knowing if you’re doing a driveway or a patio rather than a full site.
Concrete
We don’t do ready-mix. Our concrete is mixed on site, so the materials travel separately and get mixed to your spec at the kerb. You pay for what you actually use and there’s no drum going off while you’re waiting for the pour. Handy when you’re not sure how much you’ll need or the access is tight.
What it usually goes into
Foundations, footings, driveways, hardstanding, pipe bedding and drainage, sub-base for yards and car parks, and a fair bit of landscaping work.
